Suspension Setup

I have to reset the ride heights and wheel alignment. The first requirement is to make sure that the floor is flat. I do this with an electronic level gauge and a straight bar whose length is equal to the wheel spacing. It is mounted on angle brackets so that floor irregularities between the wheels don't affect it. The bar is actually a hollow tube with 1/8" wall thicknes; that's enough to prevent it from sagging. I've checked the bar for straightness with a taught string, and the angle brackets are carefully machined. This is the front.
