The chrome exhaust tip I ordered had not arrived; it has to be tack welded onto the outlet. I still wanted to paint the outlet before installing the tip, to prevent the rust shown in an earlier picture. It just meant that I'd have to scrape off a little paint before welding and repaint the area afterward.
